At the 2020 Belgian Grand Prix, Leclerc achieved the fastest maximum speed ever recorded at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. The Monegasque driver was attempting to get a slipstream from Scuderia Ferrari teammate Sebastian Vettel when he reached a speed of
362 km/hr. That wasa full 11 km/hr faster than the second-fastest driver in the race, Pierre Gasly, and 45 km/hr faster than race winner Lewis Hamilton.
