Max Verstappen broke the record for most wins in a single F1 season with his victory at the Formula 1 Gran Premio De La Ciudad De Mexico 2022.
Verstappen recorded his 14th Formula 1 win, overtaking Michael Schumacher and Sebastien Vettel's long-held record. The Dutchman was incredibly dominant in Mexico. He led from the start of the race, fighting off the challenge from Lewis Hamilton in P2 and winning the race by over 15 seconds. Verstappen also broke the record for most points in a season, overtaking Hamilton's 2019 total of 413 and showing exactly why he is FIA Formula 1 Drivers' World Champion.
