Max Verstappen became the 2023 FIA Formula 1® Drivers' World Champion at the F1 Qatar GP 2023.
The Dutchman claimed his third successive championship after an incredible season in which he has won 14 out of the 17 races so far. Going into Saturday's F1 Sprint Race, Verstappen knew he had to stay within five points of teammate Sergio Perez to claim
the title. There were numerous obstacles, however, Verstappen battled his way to P2 meaning that he could not be caught and the championship was his.
