It was a special day for the British driver, who's hard work finally paid off as he tasted victory for the very first time as an F1® driver.
Norris had been knocking on the door of victory in recent years, having previously achieved 15 podiun finishes. However he achieved his dream of becoming a Formula 1® race winner
in Miami. The Brit qualified for the race in P5 and produced an incredible drive to move his way past the Scuderia Ferrari and Oracle Red Bull Racing drivers and earn his first ever P1 finish. Norris became the first driver to take a maiden victory in the
United States since Michele Alboreto in 1982.
